Laura Blair was awarded a 5-year research grant renewal from the National Institutes of Health for over $3.4 million to study a risk factor for depressive symptoms in Alzheimer's disease. This work may lead to new approaches to help reduce these symptoms and slow Alzheimer's disease progression.
