Dr. Blair named 2023 Douglas Scholar together with Dr. Brian Blagg at Notre Dame
Dr. Blair was selected as the 2023 Cathy and Paul Douglas Scholar in Alzheimer’s Discovery with co-PI, Dr. Brian Blagg at Notre Dame.
This funding from the Harrington Discovery Institute will enable the progression of the Blair/Blagg lab collaboration to test these Aha1/Hsp90 disruptors for their ability to prevent tau fibrilization in vivo. The long-term goal is to develop therapeutic strategies that slow the accumulation of tau through targeting the Aha1/Hsp90 complex.
