According to AIMBE, the honor recognizes his outstanding contributions in biomedical nanotechnology and his leadership in translational nanomedicine. The College of Fellows comprises the top 2% of medical and biological engineers whose work has advanced innovation and improved public health. Dr. Mohapatra’s election underscores his pioneering research and commitment to translating nanomedicine discoveries into treatments for diseases such as cancer, asthma and traumatic brain injury.
