Applications for USF Health ERA PREP are accepted through March 30.
Application Process
- Apply to USF as a Non-Degree Seeking Student-Personal Enrichment/Other Students with a Fall 2026 Start
- Pay the $30 application fee
- Complete the ERA PREP Application. You will need your University ID number (a U followed by 8 digits) in order to apply; this will be issued to you when you submit your Non-Degree Seeking Application, so make sure to complete that step first. Additionally, be prepared to provide the following required documents in the Program Application:
- CV/Resume
- Undergraduate Transcripts
- Personal statement describing motivation to join ERA PREP with a focus on why the PREP program will help you achieve your career goals in AD research
- Names and emails of your recommenders for Letters of Recommendation. 3 letters of recommendation are required.
Both Non-Degree Application and Program Application must be submitted by end of day on March 30.

- Who is eligible to apply for this program?
- Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for this program
- Applicants must have completed or will complete a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
- Applicants should be no more than 1-year post-undergraduate degree at time of application
- Applicants who have already earned a graduate degree (e.g., master’s, PhD, MD) are not eligible

A clear passion for research, particularly in Alzheimer’s-related neuroscience
A compelling personal statement outlining research interests and goals
Strong letters of recommendation that speak to research ability and relevant experience
Who should write my letters of recommendation
Applicants may refer to the Recommendation Letter Guide, and share with their recommenders for additional guidance
