Original Article (October 2023): Dr. Campbell-Montalvo has been appointed as a Social Science Analyst at the Tampa VA Research and Education Foundation. There, she is a core team member and qualitative lead on I-HEAL, a CDMRP-funded project run out of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. I-HEAL seeks to improve how people with traumatic brain injury access care across four projects with multi-pronged systems interventions, including modifying a staff playbook for the TBI context and designing an electronic medical record cue for practitioners to involve caregivers in the care of patients with cognitive impairment. At Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, she works on research understanding and maximizing the role of patient education in patients' treatment choices and outcomes in relation to home dialysis for end stage renal disease.
