Auditory Physiology Laboratory

Overview

The USF Health Auditory Physiology Laboratory, directed by Principal Investigator Jeffery T. Lichtenhan, PhD, focuses on enhancing clinical otology and audiology through cutting-edge research on the ear. Utilizing both animal models and human participants, our research aims to uncover the cellular origins and mechanisms underlying physiologic measurements used to assess hearing in normal and diseased ears. Our innovative approaches address critical questions about the sources of objective hearing measurements in clinical and laboratory settings.
