Desiree Uzoho

I am a freshman at the University of South Florida Honors College, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology. Through my experience working in the healthcare industry and in my studies, I developed a strong interest in immunology and pathology, particularly in how neurological and psychological factors influence gene expression. I hope to explore this field further and contribute to a deeper understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying disease. Outside of the lab, I enjoy sewing, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
