I received my PhD degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where I focused on elucidating the mechanisms of tumorigenesis. My doctoral work demonstrated that the nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of the DNA demethylase TET2 plays a critical role in regulating colorectal cancer progression. I then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Sun Yat-sen University, where I investigated the epigenetic regulation of tumor immunity, with a particular focus on macrophage fate determination and T cell exhaustion within the tumor microenvironment. In late 2024, I joined the Xu Lab, where I began studying neuro-immune-tumor communication to uncover novel therapeutic strategies.
