Jeewon Choi

I received my PhD degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where I investigated the neural mechanisms underlying appetite regulation in the hypothalamus. My research experience includes electrophysiology, stereotaxic surgery, and mouse behavioral experiments. In May 2026, I joined the Dr. Xu Lab as a postdoctoral scholar. My current research focuses on how glucose-sensing neurons function across different brain regions and regulate metabolic physiology. Outside the lab, I enjoy watching Korean baseball league, exploring cafés, chatting with people, and watching movies.
