Nathan Xu

I am a first-year undergraduate at the University of South Florida’s Judy Genshaft Honors College, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and pursuing its 7-Year BS/MD Accelerated Program. My interest in neuroscience began when I began taking internships at Dr. Chunmei Wang’s lab at Baylor College of Medicine. Currently, I am under the supervision of Dr. Hailan Liu, where I have the opportunity to learn more about animal behaviors’ influence on neural activity and various laboratory techniques. In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, collecting Pokémon cards, and exploring the world of gacha games.
