Tong Zhou, MD, PhD

I obtained my PhD and MD from the First Hospital of Jilin University in 2019, and my work mainly focused on the immune system function in type 2 diabetes and obesity and its complications such as diabetic kidney disease. In 2025, I joined Dr. Xu’s lab as a visiting scholar to further explore how the central nervous system regulates the immune system in the context of metabolic disease.
