I received a PhD in Neuroscience from Peking University, where I focused on neuropathic pain pathways and the mechanisms of insulin secretion in pancreatic β cells. In 2025, I started postdoctoral research in Dr. Yong Xu’s laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, studying the neurocircuits that regulate behavior and energy metabolism. Later that year, I continued my postdoctoral training with Dr. Xu at the University of South Florida. My expertise spans molecular biology, cell biology, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, and animal behavior analysis. My research interests center on understanding how the peripheral sensory nervous system modulates central circuits to regulate metabolism and behavior. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing badminton and skiing.
