Jose Reyes-Pichardo

I am an undergraduate research assistant in the lab of Dr. Yuqiang Bai researching different models of dry eye in rabbits, while also assisting in the clinical study utilizing a novel ophthalmic imaging system.  I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with minors in French and Francophone Studies, and my ultimate goal is to pursue a career in Ophthalmology. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in complex laboratory and clinical research environments and am certified in animal handling and care as well as in clinical research practices, strengthening my skills in experimental methodology, data collection and analysis, and scientific communication.
