Dr. Genesis D'aloisio is an Argentinian-Italian researcher passionate about studying the effects of alcohol consumption during early development. As a PhD fellow at CONICET in Argentina, she investigated the fetal programming process derived from alcohol consumption during pregnancy using both animal and human models. Now at Dr. Gulick's lab as a Postdoctoral Researcher, she explores the combined impact of early alcohol exposure and circadian disruptions on Alzheimer's risk. Her research also involves implanting EEG devices in mice through brain surgery to understand sleep and physiological responses during alcohol consumption. Outside of the lab, Dr. D'aloisio enjoys exploring new cuisines, socializing, and relaxing at the beach.
