Dr. Daniel Moreira Silva

I am a Biomedical Scientist with PhD in Neuroscience and Cognition. I am interested in investigating the interaction between metabolic factors and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathology. My current research focus is understanding how metabolism and circadian rhythm can affect the risk of developing cognitive and pathological features of AD. Outside the lab, I love to spend time with my pets, play volleyball, and eat ice cream.
