Collaboration agreement options
Charitable donations through the USF Foundation help fuel IVHI’s work to improve the lives of individuals with voice, hearing, and communication challenges. Your gift supports innovative research, compassionate clinical care, and programs that directly benefit patients and their families. Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, making it a meaningful way to give back while advancing better care.

Research projects where the partner funds specific project costs.
Process:
Contract goes through USF General Counsel. Timeline is approximately 2–3 months.
What it offers:

Industry- or investigator-sponsored clinical trials involving human subjects, including device, digital health, therapeutic, or diagnostic studies related to voice, hearing, balance, swallowing, or communication disorders.
Process:
Study is managed through the USF Office of Clinical Research (OCR) and follows institutional review and regulatory requirements, including IRB approval. Timeline varies based on study complexity, regulatory review, and contracting.
What it offers:
- Access to IVHI’s clinical population and integrated research–clinical environment
- Collaboration with experienced clinician-scientists and clinical research staff
- Support for study design, recruitment, data collection, and clinical execution
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies, pilot trials, or full clinical trials
- Alignment with FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
