Grand Opening of Center for Family Healing and Resilience

On Saturday, June 13, the Scale Institute proudly celebrated the launch of the Center for Family Healing and Resilience—also known as Rosie's Place—with a community Open House and Launch Event. Rosie's Place was created to be a welcoming community hub where families can heal, grow, and thrive together. Families, caregivers, youth, community partners, and neighbors joined us to explore the center, connect with one another, and experience the many activities and resources that Rosie's Place will offer.

During the launch event, families participated in a variety of calming and fun activities designed to promote wellness and connection. Children and adults gathered in our courtyard and indoor lounge spaces for basketball and family recreation. In our main center space, guests explored mindfulness and breathwork through yoga demonstrations led by our instructors and immersive virtual reality experiences. An art station featuring watercolor activities provided additional opportunities for creativity, relaxation, and self-expression. The energy throughout the day reflected the spirit of Rosie's Place: a safe and supportive environment where families can build resilience and enjoy quality time with one another.

We are excited to see the positive impact Rosie's Place will have on children, parents, caregivers, and families throughout our community. To learn more about Rosie's Place and sign up for upcoming programs and activities, visit us here!

The Center for Family Healing and Resilience is proudly funded by the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, whose support helps make these services and opportunities available to local families.
