Shiva serves as a mentor to a developing country eye research fellow at ARVO 2024

Shiva served as a mentor (along with Dr. Yutao Liu from Georgia) to Dr. George Sosuan, a promising young physician-scientist from the Philippines at the 2024 ARVO annual meeting. This was a part of the Developing Country Eye Research Fellows program designed by ARVO to provide mentorship to those from developing countries attending ARVO for the first time. Shiva also served as a moderator for the session on 'Corneal Epithelium' in the same meeting.
