Chad K Radwan, PhD
Dr. Chad K. Radwan is an external affiliate of the AQUASS Research Lab and a Health Science Specialist at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System's Center for Clinical Management Research (CCMR). He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology and his current research foci include suicide prevention, burnout among Homeless Program Office staff, and accessibility of the Veterans’ Crisis Line. Dr. Radwan has experience applying qualitative methods to research studies and quality improvement projects addressing TBI patients’ access to care as well as interventions intended to improve health outcomes and quality of life. During his tenure at James A. Haley, he ran the Veterans Engagement Group, which facilitated Veterans and their caregivers to provide critical feedback to researchers throughout every phase of the research process. His community-engaged scholarship exemplifies a commitment to advancing equitable, trauma-informed care for structurally vulnerable populations.
