RISE Medical Graduate Research Assistant
Connor Hodges is a first-year medical student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He previously earned a B.S. in Biology at the University of Washington. His research focuses on examining hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injury in veterans and active service members, with particular emphasis on the social and experiential factors that shape patient attitudes and perceived outcomes. He is also interested in the intersection of medicine and nutrition. Connor plans to graduate medical school with a concentration in nutrition and is a founding board member of USF's Kids in Nutrition program, which teaches elementary students about the importance of healthy eating.
