Emma Westerfield is a master's student in Religious Studies at the University of South Florida. Her research focuses on bioethics, with particular interest in patient–provider relationships and the influence of religious and moral frameworks on clinical decision making. Previously, she earned a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A in Religious Studies from the University of South Florida. She is active in mental health crisis prevention and suicide prevention causes volunteering with the Fisher House Foundation and annually at the Department of Defense Warrior Games.
