Tali Schneider, PhD, MPH, CHES

Scientific Researcher

Dr. Tali Schneider is a Scientific Researcher in the Department of Emergency Medicine with nearly two decades of experience in health education and promotion and implementation science. Her expertise is in the design and execution of complex social and behavioral health-focused research, with specialization in qualitative methods. Dr. Schneider translates research insights into actionable strategies to optimize access to care, healthcare delivery, and experiences and outcomes across populations. Dr. Schneider’s research portfolio is grounded in social marketing and human-centered design.  

Before to joining USF, Dr. Schneider served for six years as a Health Science Specialist at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa. There, she spearheaded qualitative components for interdisciplinary projects, including randomized controlled trials, national evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. Prior, she served as the Deputy Director and researcher for the Centers for Disease Control-funded Prevention Research Center at USF. Dr. Schneider holds a PhD in Research Methods and Evaluation and an MPH, both from the University of South Florida.
