Briana Baboolall
I am a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of South Florida, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I have previously participated in research on the molecular pathophysiology of barrier tissues under the guidance of Dr. Mack Wu and am currently expanding my research experience in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology with Dr. Jerome Breslin. In addition to research, I serve as the President of Marketing for GenConnect, a student organization dedicated to teaching seniors about technology at retirement homes. These diverse experiences, along with my deep passion for art, sculpting, and the human body, inspire me to pursue an MD with a specialization in trauma plastic surgery. By combining the precision and creativity of art with the science of medicine, I aim to improve surgical techniques through innovative and artistic approaches.
