Andrea Jean Chapov
I was born in Rochester, New York and I lived there with my parents and my 3 sisters until my Dad got a job in Miami, Florida in 1979. I went to FSU for 1 year of college and then I transferred to The University of Florida in 1985 to study Architecture, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Design degree in Interior Design.
I met my husband while we were both students in the College of Architecture; and, we were married in November of 1989. I worked in the field of design for a short time and then we had our first child in 1990. My husband went into ministry work, and we had 2 more children in 1992 and 1996.
I was a stay-at-home Mom during the 1990’s when the children were small and then in 2001, I was ordained as a minister as well. We began a church in New York City in 2001 and pastored there until 2007.
Since then, we have lived 3 different places - Greensboro, North Carolina, Alexandria, Virginia and Gainesville, Florida – until we settled in Tampa, Florida in 2022.
A few favorite hobbies of mine are going for walks, trying new restaurants with my husband, art projects, baking and watching good movies.
I joined the D Wang Lab in August of 2022 as an Administrative Assistant.
