Joanne Chan
Program Research Scientist
Dr. Joanne Chan is an experienced scientist with expertise in genetics, kinase signaling pathways, and vascular biology. Her research has significantly advanced our knowledge of cancer progression, and treatment, as well as antiangiogenic strategies, and has elucidated host responses to infectious diseases that impact the vascular system. Her publications offer insights into molecular disease mechanisms and innovative treatment approaches.
Currently, as a Program Research Scientist, Dr. Chan is dedicated to uncovering molecular pathways implicated in congenital heart disease. Her work focuses on identifying new regulators of heart function and understanding their role in the development of cardiovascular disorders.
