Tian Lin
Dr. Tian Li, M.D., Ph.D., is currently Assistant Professor as a member of the USF Health Center for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) and Heart Institute. Dr. Lin is an experienced researcher and recently relocated to Tampa after working for 11 years as an Instructor at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. During this training and her previous fellowship, Dr. Lin distinguished herself as an excellent scientist; she has impressive experience with the development of custom cell culture systems, including very challenging co-culture models using different cell types.
Her skill set and areas of expertise with these culture models is valuable in studies using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) for the modeling of human cardiac disease; her insights are valuable in studies aimed at devising new approaches for the treatment of cardiomyopathies and other cardiac diseases.
