Gunjan Upadhyaya
Gunjan Upadhyay is an accomplished analytical chemist with over nine years of experience in pharmaceutical and academic research. Specializing in API, small molecules, lipidomics, and biomarkers, she employs advanced techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC. Currently, as an IACUC-certified researcher, she investigates cardiovascular disturbances linked to diet, sleep, and exercise, analyzing lipidomic changes using Sciex Q-trap LC-MS/MS, while also expanding skills in RNA extraction and genotyping for drug development.
Previously, Gunjan led a research team at USF, collaborating with SGN Nanopharma to develop cannabinoid-based nano-lotions and NSAIDs for neurological conditions. Her career highlights include method development, validation, troubleshooting, and experience with cGMP/cGLP processes, FDA, and DEA compliance.
