Lily Slotabec, BS, BA

Ms. Lily Slotabec earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2022 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023 from the University of South Florida. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she worked in the cardiac physiology laboratory at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In January 2026, she joined our team as a research scientist and is currently involved in several laboratory projects, focusing on the function and regulation of mitochondria mediated by stress-responsive protein kinases, such as PKD and c-Src, in cardiac pathophysiology.
