Young Min Bae, DVM, PhD

His primary research focus is on hypertension and mechanosensitive ion channels. In collaboration with us, he has received the 2025 International Visiting Professorship Award from the American Heart Association. The focus of his Visiting Scholar program is on investigating the physiological and pathological roles of sodium-leak channels on mitochondrial functions in vascular smooth muscle cells.
