Our lab's research spans behavioral parent training interventions to treat childhood disruptive behaviors and childhood trauma. We focus on implementing interventions that meet the needs of neurodiverse populations. We also evaluate training programs for healthcare and community-based professionals in best practices for serving children and families.
Developing children's skills by empowering families
Our incredible DOCS team offers caregivers a problem-solving approach to understand and resolve everyday behavior problems. DOCS Parenting participants report gains in their parenting skills, reductions in parenting stress and child behavior problems, and satisfaction with the program.
