Mary Ryan

Graduate student at George Mason University, College of Arts and Sciences, studying Clinical Psychology PhD 

Year of anticipated graduation: August 2026

 

I am primarily interested in family-based interventions for children and adolescents with challenging behaviors, with a particular focus on teen–parent communication. Long term, I hope to contribute to research examining adolescents and families through both clinical and neuroimaging approaches, including fMRI.

 

One summer, while living in DC, I completed a Flying Trapeze Course and faced my fear of heights
