Selena Berhie

I have a strong interest in pediatrics, specifically working with hematology and oncology patients as they recover from chronic conditions. I specifically want to develop a stronger understanding of how I can help care for the mental health side of recovery as a physician, and the opportunity to work as part of Mindsets in Motion has allowed me to do that. I also hope to someday travel to Eritrea and Ethiopia to expand healthcare access there.

 

I was a dancer for sixteen years! Dancing through my own health recovery was what first got me passionate about treating mental health during patient recovery.
