Kiersten Gorse

Kiersten J. Gorse, B.S.

Kiersten is an advanced research scientist in the Sharp laboratory at USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, USA. Kiersten received her bachelor degree from Cornell University where she majored in animal sciences. She has more than a decade of biomedical research experience giving her expertise in biochemical and molecular methodology. Her skill set has expanded into cell culture and in vivo models. Kiersten joined USF as a research scientist in 2019 in the Jackson laboratory and recently joined the Sharp laboratory in 2023.

Kiersten aspires to continue her professional scientific training and career through pursuing a doctorate in philosophy.
