Thanh Trung Van

Thanh Trung Van, B.S., M.S.

Trung is a graduate student in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology at USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, USA. Trung received his bachelor degree from the University of Florida where he majored in microbiology and graduated cum laude. He worked as a laboratory assistant in the lab of Dr. Golde.

Trung continued his scientific training through a master’s degree in biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University. Trung, during his master’s degree was a research coordinator in the Dept. of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins. Trung joined the graduate program in 2023 and has been a member of the lab since 2024. Trung aspires to pursue a medical degree once he completes his Ph.D.
