Jade is a third-year medical student in the Class of 2027 at the USF Morsani College of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and has contributed to research on surgical outcomes in patients with traumatic brain injury. During medical school, she has developed a strong interest in functional neurosurgery and is particularly passionate about advancing clinical research in neurophysiology. Currently, she is excited to be part of the Tampa Human Neurophysiology Lab, where she is gaining valuable experience in analyzing neural activity, learning from experts in the field, and deepening her understanding of how neurophysiology research can translate to improved patient care.
