Sur Patel

Sur Patel is a junior undergraduate student at the University of South Florida, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health. She is deeply interested in neuroscience, especially drawn to understanding how disruptions in neural signaling contribute to movement disorders and other neurological conditions. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in medicine, hoping to combine clinical practice with a strong foundation in research. Being part of the Tampa Human Neurophysiology Lab aligns closely with these goals, as it provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in neurophysiological research, strengthen her analytical skills, and learn from experts studying human motor function. Through this experience, she aims to grow as both a scientist and a future physician while contributing meaningfully to advancements in neurological health.
