Medical Student

My name is Vito Evola, and I am a second-year medical student at Nova Southeastern University. Prior to beginning my third year, I was selected as one of three students to serve as a Research Fellow for my medical school. I have been working with the neurosurgical department, focusing on spine-related projects involving data collection and manuscript preparation. More recently, I was awarded a grant to conduct wet-lab research investigating the role of the GLP-1 agonist Orforglipron and its potential in mitigating tauopathies. I hope to pursue a career in neurosurgery as a future physician.
