PhD, Gengze Wei

I earned my PhD in Physiology. I joined Dr. Walker lab to investigate the cellular/molecular pathway of the neuroadaptation produced by alcohol use disorder (AUD) in 2015. I focus specifically on the neuroadaptive compensatory mechanisms within systems that contribute to negative affective and motivational behaviors. And my aim is also to observe and identify the function of Dyn/KOR system on the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
