We are incredibly thrilled to share some exciting news from the NeuBaC Lab! Our team’s dedication to advancing spinal health research is gaining remarkable recognition across multiple scientific platforms.
On September 16, 2025, our manuscript titled “Retrospective Chart Review of Nonsurgical Spinal Decompression as a Therapeutic Modality for Low Back Pain” was published in Military Medicine, and it has already soared to become the third most-read article in the entire journal! This achievement reflects the growing interest in innovative, non-invasive approaches to spinal care. Congratulations to the authors: Shannon Schueren, Lauren A. Luginsland, Gina Ariza Medina, and Nathan D. Schilaty for their outstanding work.
But that’s not all! Our recently published case series, “Clinical and Imaging Outcomes of Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression for Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Lesions: A Case Series,” is making headlines as well. Featured in the Journal of Contemporary Chiropractic, this article is officially the most-read publication of 2025 in the journal! Kudos to the talented, collaborative team behind this milestone: Jacob Connolly, Lauren Luginsland, Susan Welsh, Jessie A. Bexley, Jamie Pirone, William Martin, Scott Thorpe, and Nathan D. Schilaty.
These accomplishments underscore the NeuBaC Lab’s commitment to producing high-quality, clinically relevant research that challenges the status quo and opens new doors for patient care. We couldn’t be more proud of our hardworking team and look forward to sharing even more groundbreaking contributions in the future.
Stay tuned... this is just the beginning!
