NeuBaC Research Featured on Fox 13 News Channel

Our researchers in the NeuBaC Lab at University of South Florida are developing an innovative AI-powered knee sleeve designed to help reduce the risk of ACL injuries. The wearable technology uses artificial intelligence to identify movement patterns associated with increased injury risk and provides real-time feedback to help users modify their biomechanics during activity. The project is led in part by our own Dr. Nathan Schilaty, Associate Professor in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and the USF Department of Medical Engineering. The research aims to address the growing need for injury-prevention technologies, particularly for athletes who may be at higher risk for non-contact ACL injuries.

We are excited to see this work highlighted by FOX 13 Tampa Bay and appreciate their coverage of our ongoing efforts to translate biomechanics and artificial intelligence research into practical solutions for injury prevention. [fox13news.com]
