Kathleen Huyen Dao

Kathleen is currently a second-year majoring in Biomedical Sciences with the goal of attending medical school and a strong interest in pediatrics. As an undergraduate research volunteer, she has been exposed to and gained hands-on experience with various laboratory skills including ELISA, DNA extraction, PCR, cell culture, and more. This lab exposure has allowed her to develop her technical skills and build a strong foundation in research. She hopes to expand her interests in exploring basic science and relating it to the clinical side of pediatric medicine.
