Mehran Shaban Pour

Mehran moved from Iran to Germany in 2019, where he completed his MSc degree in Neuroscience at the University of Bonn and obtained practical training in the field of innate immunity, immune metabolism and Alzheimer's disease. Since 2023, he has been enrolled as a Grad student in Medical Sciences program-Neuroscience track. At Dr. Yao's lab, Mehran is seeking the role of cell-specific expression of Integrin in hemorrhagic stroke. His projects involve a wide range of in-vivo and in-vitro techniques such as ICH surgery and behavioral tests, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and TEER measurement of Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) components (in-vitro).
