- Current PhD Candidate in Medical Sciences at USF
- In Katherine's work, she focuses on EEG research, contributing to projects including the USF Health HBOT clinical trial, opioid use disorder studies, and microbiome research. She also works with biomechanics data and processes 3D motion capture.
- Her research interests are rooted in neuroscience and neurodegenerative disease, particularly influenced by her personal experience growing up with her maternal grandmother, who had early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
- Outside of research, she enjoys visiting Walt Disney World, especially EPCOT for its festivals, and participates in runDisney races. She also values spending time with her husband and family.
