Laila is a master’s student in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida, with a strong interest in the intersection of neuroscience, biomechanics, and clinical medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida, where she developed a foundation in human behavior, neurobiology, and physiological systems.

She plans to pursue a career in medicine, with interests in integrating research and patient care to advance evidence-based clinical practice.

Outside of research, she is a certified Pilates instructor and enjoys playing the piano!
